Not only does the system offer lower material costs per square metre, according to Drytac, the AFC also offers the possibility of coating previously difficult or impossible substrates such as non-porous textiles, canvases, vinyls and many other flexible substrates. Furthermore, with its numerous performance features including the TruSpeed Compensator, Dual Quick Disconnect Supply Tanks and an optional secondary IR heater/fan unit, the machine is easy to operate with very little training required, says the manufacturer.
EPS will sell all three sizes of the machine (1.6m/2.2m and 3.2m) and will also be stocking the complete range of EnduraCoat aqueous coatings suitable for a wide range of applications including vehicle graphics, digital wallpaper coverings, outdoor vinyls, banner displays and Giclée work.
The French company is to use the system as a demonstration machine – customers can see live work and undergo one-on-one training. For customers who want to offer this type of finishing solution but do not have sufficient demand to justify the investment, EPS will also offer a production service.
