3M continues to grow its roster of OEM piezo inkjet printer and ink combinations qualified to receive the 3M performance guarantee when used with a wide range of approved 3M media.

Graphics media specialist Neschen says its presence at the De Grafische Vakbeurs & Vakbeurs Sign trade fair will focus on digital printable wallpapers – a concept the German manufacturer says has been jointly developed with rough and textile wallpaper specialist Erfurt.
The event takes place at Hardenberg in the Netherlands between February 9-11. Neschen says that a special Color Alliance (CA) certified coating prepares the textile wallpapers for quality inkjet printing. The motifs and patterns on the digital wallpapers can then be created individually and the wallpapers hung in the usual way using commercially-available wallpaper pastes.

In order to inject maximum visual creativity into a global product launch at London’s Selfridges department store, high-end fashion company Lacoste recently commissioned graphics using Lumisty view control film from UK-based, Madico Graphic Films. The iconic French brand selected the versatile glazing enhancement film for its eye-catching capability of changing from translucent to transparent, depending on the viewing angle. This enabled Lacoste to captivate passing pedestrians and channel their gaze towards promotional window displays.

A pioneering British manufacturer has achieved what it says is a world first by producing a magnetic tape product which is available in a range of colours.
Sheffield, UK-based Anchor Magnets says that exhibition graphic tape had previously only been available in brown. It says that the choice of colours now on offer will enable manufacturers of portable display and exhibition stands to maximise the use of flexible magnets in their design options and products, whilst maintaining a co-ordinated appearance.
